This dashboard mount sits on my dash without any issue and never moves.One issue with this item is attaching the stand to the plastic GPS mount. The mount has a ball and the stand has a hole that fits over the ball to hold it in place. This doesn't work very well UNTIL you have the GPS already attached to the stand. When it first arrived I was worried because I couldn't get the stand and mount to stay together.
