That means that I spend all day bouncing around under the hot sun while everything gets dusty and dirty. Once, I watched my "permanently mounted" Garmin mount attachment plastic turn from a solid to a semi-solid and my GPS unit slowly went from the dashboard to the floor. Yeah, it was hot outside.I have a new Jeep now, and I wasn't sure where I wanted my GPS unit to be permanently mounted. A temporary solution was in order, but I didn't believe that anything would work very well, honestly. I wanted to stick the GPS unit to the windshield, but I didn't believe that anything would withstand all of the bouncing around and all of the changes in temperature. Boy, was I wrong!
